Wine Gourmet to reopen Thursday in new Electric Road location
Gourmet Wine will reopen Thursday at 10 am at its new location in the park, promenade, opposite the West Village Shoppes in southwest Roanoke County.
The store of wine and beer has recently moved from the road in 2219 near Franklin Ukrop's grocery store old.
Owner Kimberly Eakin said the new location will be beneficial to the store because it will be surrounded by other independent retailers in an area with heavy traffic.
Gourmet wine Eakin put on the market last year. Several potential buyers have approached her, she said in May, adding that she expects the new location of the store to increase its value.
