Boeing continues support of museum with C-17 model, cash donation
The centerpiece of the last contribution of Boeing is a model of the C-17 Globemaster III, the newest of the nation's strategic airlift aircraft. The model is based on a pedestal outside near the main entrance of the museum building Eagle. Gus Urzua, vice president of Boeing and program director for the partnership to maintain C-17 Robins Air Force Base, made the presentation with a check for $ 20,000. "The museum could not do what he does every day if she had not a goal," he told the crowd "and that the goal is to create, prepare and educate the next generation.If it were not for donations from industry partners and the Middle Georgia average, we could not do that.
